CasEngine by CodEngines
Legal practice management software

One system for the whole practice. With the AI inside it.

CasEngine runs the firm — clients, matters, courts, documents, time and money — and the AI works on that same record rather than on files you paste into something else. Developed in the UAE, in Arabic and English.

Why CasEngine

There are two kinds of legal software. This is the third.

One kind reads your documents and holds none of your practice. The other holds your practice and reads none of your documents. Each is half of the job.

Read a document. Hold nothing.A brilliant answer with nowhere to go — no matter behind it, no hearing date, no time entry, no invoice. Your practice still runs somewhere else.

Read, dated, cited — and already on the matter.

Holds the matter. Reads the files. One record for the whole practice, and the AI working on it — the bundle read into a cited chronology, the update and the time narrative drafted, each landing in the system that will bill it.
See it work

Give it the bundle. Get the case back, dated and cited.

Drop the documents into any case or client. The workspace reads them into a chronology with every entry cited to its source page, maps every party, and answers questions from the files alone — saying plainly when the record does not contain the answer.

Runs on Microsoft Azure in the UAE, inside your own account. Charged on use — nothing if you do not use it.

The modern practice

What changes when it is one record instead of six inboxes.

  1. 01

    Nothing is typed twice.

The enquiry becomes the client, the client becomes the matter, the matter becomes the invoice. One record, start to finish, in whichever language it began.

  2. 02

    Deadlines count themselves down.

Appeal windows, licence renewals, filings and document expiries — held against the record they belong to, with a named owner and a reminder that moves when the date does.

  3. 03

The files are read, not filed.

A bundle uploaded to a case comes back as a dated chronology cited to page, a map of every party, and answers that carry their citations — or say the record does not contain them.

  4. 04

The narrative is written from what you did.

Time entries drafted from recorded activity and checked for the vague wording clients strike out — before the invoice, not after the write-off.

  5. 05

The client hears before they ask.

Updates drafted from what happened, approved by a lawyer, sent by email or WhatsApp. For a legal department, the same for the business it serves.

  6. 06

    The practice can see itself.

Utilisation, receivables, dormant files and closing appeal windows on a live dashboard — the numbers the management meeting used to spend the morning building.

Arabic and English

Bilingual by design, not by translation.

Language is a setting per user, not per firm. An Arabic-speaking associate and an English-speaking partner work the same matter, each in their own interface, activity feed and notifications — and the same record prints the engagement letter and the invoice in either language. Right-to-left is how the product is built, not a layer applied afterwards.

  • Interface, feed and notifications per user
  • Documents and invoices in either language
  • Court and case-type names in both
  • Arabic OCR on scanned bundles

What our firms say
about running on CasEngine

I now have all the cases with the dates, assignments, tasks, reporting in one place, one now knows exactly what work do we have and when is it due.

The change is evident; everything is way more organized. With Casengine, our work has become easier as it gives us reports on the workflow and the overall pending tasks as well.

In addition to the regular updates and auto-reminders on tasks to be completed sent from the portal to the user's email, which I found to be very useful and helpful in the overall process of following up on the works.

FAQ

The questions people type before they call.

Software that runs a law firm's or legal department's work end to end — the clients, matters and cases, the hearings and deadlines, the documents, the time and the billing — on one record rather than across email, spreadsheets and a diary. CasEngine is that, built for the Gulf: bilingual, configured for the courts of seven jurisdictions, with the AI working inside the same record.

Fifteen days, no card, the whole product.
